People say all the time that a man should NEVER put his hands on a woman. However, when a woman hits a man everybody says less. Is that not double standard?

It’s getting to the point where women are comfortable hitting on men because they know nothing should happen to them. That’s not fair to the men especially the ones who definitely have no intention on hitting women
If a woman can beat on a man she should be able to handle the consequences 🤷🏾♀️
He shouldn’t beat the dog shit out of her. And if he could help it he shouldn’t even hit but try to restrain her. But at the end of the day he has a right to properly defend himself

I commented just about this on a video of two girls beating up some dude on this very website and some simple bastard replied “I think he cheated on one of them” 🙄
So long as we keep treating the nastiest parts of humanity like their specific to one gender we are gonna keep dealing with them, abuse being the best example.
I honestly get so tired of women thinking it’s okay to hit their partners because they think they won’t hit back. If you really respect and care about someone, why would you do something as disrespectful as hitting them in the first place? There are other ways to express anger or frustration besides putting your hands on someone. It doesn’t matter if it’s coming from a man or a woman, it’s abuse either way. I’m tired of some women thinking that they get a pass 😡

Abuse is never ok. No matter the form.
And often times men are abused and violated by women who often think it’s okay because they know the law is on there side as soon as the man retaliates.
THAT BEING SAID, it’s so irritating to know that they are women who take advantage of the law in that way by getting men purposely arrected, lying on them because in a court room they will be believed first, and taking advantage of one of the MANY ways women are put above men in the eyes of the law (since men are more likely to get arrested than women), knowing that they are so many real and sometimes unreported cases of domestic abuse and violence, involving real women who are left mentally and emotionally scarred and traumatized. When women take advantage of the law in this way, not only is it sad and unfortunate for the male party involved, but their methods of lying and cheating men out of justice, only raise questions for those other women who actually deal with abuse. And we don’t need that.
This thread is no to put aside the harsh realities of domestic violence against women, but to alert people of the disadvantages of many men also face in the eyes of the law.
SO MANY MEN ARE INSTANTLY PUT TO TRIAL AND WRONGLY CONVICTED BECAUSE OF THE DISINTEGRITY OF WOMEN AND THEIR ACTIONS.
I read some of the coments, and few of you seem to disagree, and really that’s ok. Not everyone can see all sides. Yall stay trying to justify something by saying something else is more wrong. No boo. Wrong is wrong. And this is in fact doubled standard.

To whoever left this comment, you’re obviously a woman and you’re probably white, but that doesn’t excuse this level of ignorance. You obviously think you know what you’re talking about but you don’t. Don’t compare racism to misoginism, they’re not the same and they will never be. The only similarity is that they are both wrong. But if you want to make this about race we can.
White women got so many of our black men wrongfully convicted in the past. Knowing they could walk into ANY court room and accuse ANY black man of ANY crime and they would be convicted by ANY judge, regardless of if the story was believeable or not.
Look at the Central Part Five, a case of rape not domestic violence, but my argument still stands.
Look at the case of Emmett Till. A man who simply - as you said - “Catcalled” at a white women. He didn’t even have to touch her but because she was “offended”, they instantly had his neck on a noose.
How is that not double standard?
You’re argument doesn’t stand because in these times race still trumps gender. Believe me, white women never felt pressed about a nigga. Come again.
